Global Instrument Cross Reference Services
The Global Instrument Cross Reference Service (GICRS) is a comprehensive database of security identifiers cross-referencing almost 3 million issues from over 200 Exchanges. GICRS is based on a global securities database and covers most types of equity and debt instruments.
The service assists users in automating trading and clearing, and settlement activities for global straight-through processing and includes access to:
- Full SEDOL coverage (primary and secondary numbers)
- Predecessor links that track capital changes
- Parent key identifiers that link all issues within a company
- ISO standard currency and domicile codes
- Symbols for more than 400,000 securities
- Multiple symbols for securities that trade on multiple exchanges
- Symbols from more than 200 exchanges
