Investment Advisory Services LLC (SPIAS)

Standard & Poor's Investment Advisory Services group provides independent, custom-tailored analysis and recommendations to some of the world's leading financial organizations, from mutual fund companies and brokerages to insurance companies*. The services offer three broad categories of investment advice - Portfolio Strategies, Fund Research and Recommendations, and Asset Allocation.

Portfolio Strategies

Standard & Poor's investment advisory team offers two primary portfolio composition strategies.

• Stock-Based Strategies range from developing recommended stock lists to acting as a non-discretionary sub advisor for equity portfolios.
• Multi-Manager Strategies combines asset allocation and fund recommendations to create multi-manager strategies. Similar to the other advisory services, these strategies can be customized to accommodate the client’s universe of available funds and needs for number and type of asset classes desired.   

*The investment advisory services group provides non-discretionary advice to clients. In the United States, advisory services are offered by Standard & Poor’s Investment Advisory Services LLC (SPIAS), a registered investment advisor. Outside of the U.S., advisory services may be offered by SPIAS or the appropriate Standard & Poor’s affiliate that is duly licensed (if necessary) in that jurisdiction.
