Since 1990, S&P Capital IQ’s fund research has provided insight into the performance of many of the world's leading investment funds by examining not only what managers have achieved, but how. In a rigorous process of qualitative research, analysis and deliberation, managers are assessed on their skill and experience, the stability of their parent group, the appropriateness of their investment policies, and the sustainability of the performance of their fund.

Our coverage includes long-only equity, fixed income funds, specialist funds and alternatives including funds-of-hedge-funds, absolute return and Ucits funds. Our qualitative process also allows us to cover newly launched funds.
