S&P Municipal Yield Index |
The S&P Municipal Yield Index seeks to provide a measure of an investing strategy used in the municipal market that allocates a different percentage to non rated bonds and bonds rated below investment grade than to bonds rated investment grade. Standard & Poor’s Securities Evaluations, Inc. (SPSE) reports the price of each bond in the index. The constituents undergo a monthly review and rebalancing in order to seek to ensure the index remains current while avoiding excess turnover.
