Currently, Standard & Poor’s maintains more than 350 indices around the globe, however, more specialized indices may be required, which is why Standard & Poor’s offers its Custom Index Service.
A Standard & Poor’s Custom Index allows a client to refine existing indices to better reflect their measurement of market performance, or create an index that is notcurrently available in the marketplace.
