Since 1990, Standard & Poor's Fund Services has provided an unrivalled insight into the performance of many of the world's leading investment funds by examining not only what managers have achieved, but how. In a rigorous process of qualitative research, analysis and deliberation, managers are assessed on their skill and experience, the stability of their parent group, the appropriateness of their investment policies, and the sustainability of the performance of their fund.

The Fund Research team of 13 analysts in Europe has an average 16 years' investment experience. They undertake face-to-face interviews with fund managers around the globe, covering around 1,100 funds.

Standard & Poor's Fund Management Ratings are used by our customers to gain and retain assets. Our in-depth research is used by pension funds, private banks, family offices and other professional advisers as a primary or secondary filter in their investment process.

Our coverage includes long-only equity, fixed income funds, specialist funds and alternatives including funds-of-hedge-funds, absolute return and Ucits funds. Our qualitative process also allows us to cover newly launched funds.
