Lou Eccleston
Lou Eccleston is president of McGraw-Hill Financial, which includes leading brands and businesses such as S&P Indices, Capital IQ, Valuation & Risk Strategies and MarketScope Advisor. Mr. Eccleston joined Standard & Poor’s in 2008 as executive managing director of Fixed Income Risk Management Services (FIRMS). Before joining Standard & Poor’s, Mr. Eccleston was chairman and chief executive officer of Pivot Inc., a leading provider of communications networks for institutional investors. Previously, he served as president of Global Sales, Marketing and Services for Thomson Financial, leading the integration of separate sales, service and marketing operations around the world into one globally coordinated entity. Mr. Eccleston was also president of the Banking and Brokerage division for Thomson Financial, its largest business operating group at the time, where he led the development and launch of Thomson ONE. Mr. Eccleston also spent 14 years as a managing director with Bloomberg L.P., where he helped build sales and customer service initiatives for the desktop, trading systems, the electronic brokerage business and media operations. Mr. Eccleston holds a B.A. in Economics from Drew University and an M.B.A. in Finance from La Salle University. |

Keith Ackerman Keith Ackerman is Managing Director at S&P Capital IQ, where he is responsible for a substantial portfolio of S&P Capital IQ's research product & capabilities tailored for investors and capital markets firms around the world. This portfolio of S&P Capital IQ Research product & capabilities is packaged & sold through S&P Capital IQ's desktops and data feeds as well as through third party re-distributors. Keith is a highly recognized expert in global information/research services content, data, and analytics that are sold, paid for & fulfilled via electronic platforms. His expertise ranges from data/information/research based products & services (i.e. web scraping, data structures, analytics, mining content networks) to payment mechanisms. Prior to joining S&P Capital IQ, Keith has a substantial track record of success in leading and operating multinational businesses serving various client segments within the global capital and corporate markets. Some of his notable senior management roles with global leadership responsibilities include Global Head of Next Generation Research at ThomsonReuters; CEO of BNY Jaywalk, The Bank of New York; Global Head of Research for the agency brokerage, Instinet; Head of the North American WINS Business Development Group, and President, Price Waterhouse Publications - a risk management company owned by PricewaterhouseCoopers. Keith holds an MBA from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business and a BA from Tufts University. |

Thomas Bubeck Thomas Bubeck, Chief of Staff at McGraw Hill Financial, has responsibilities with respect to the Global Licensing and Contracts team, the Content Acquisition and Strategic Alliance team and the Compliance team. Tom also oversees the administration activities of McGraw Hill Financial’s major non-US operations centers including Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Manila and Buenos Aires. Tom joined Standard and Poor’s with the 2004 acquisition of Capital IQ. At Capital IQ, he has served in many capacities, including, most recently, Managing Director where he co-headed the Client Development team and headed the Business and Legal Affairs teams. He also served as General Counsel, in charge of all legal responsibilities for Capital IQ , and in a senior executive capacity as part of the Management team where he helped to shape and execute companywide strategies. Prior to joining Capital IQ, Tom was an associate in the Corporate Department at the law firm of Proskauer Rose LLP. At Proskauer, he worked on public and private offerings of securities, acquisitions of public and private companies and general corporate governance matters. He is a graduate of Columbia Law School. |

Kenneth C. Caruso Ken Caruso is the Vice President of Human Resources for McGraw-Hill Financial. In this capacity, Ken is responsible for providing strategic human resources leadership, and directing initiatives in talent management and development, organization design, change management and executive recruitment. He ensures that HR activity helps drive the continued growth and competitiveness of McGraw-Hill Financial worldwide Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s, Ken held the positions of senior director of human resources at J.D. Power and Associates and Business Week, both operating units within The McGraw-Hill Companies’ Information & Media segment. In these roles he made significant contributions in the arenas of talent management, leadership development and organizational restructuring. Ken’s experience prior to McGraw-Hill includes executive-level global positions in the human resources departments at MasterCard International and Citigroup’s Investment Bank, in both New York and London. Ken earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. He spent his early career as a consultant in the Change Management practice of Andersen Consulting, based in New York. |

Harry Chopra Harry Chopra leads the global sales and client services function for S&P Capital IQ. Harry brings over 26 years of sales and marketing experience in multiple geographies and industries to his current role. Prior to joining the firm, Harry was at Citigroup Asset Management, where he had the opportunity to work in both institutional and retail distribution. In the institutional space, Harry was the head of institutional marketing that supported over $180 billion in assets under management, across fixed income, equities and alternative asset classes. In the retail space, Harry was the global relationship manager, managing a $9 billion relationship with the international component (EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America) of Citigroup’s global consumer bank. He has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Delhi and an MBA in marketing from The University of Michigan. In addition, for his prior role at Citigroup Asset Management he held Series 7 and Series 24 Licenses from the NASD. Most recently, Harry was sponsored by the firm to be a part of the Columbia Business School’s Executive Education program designed around the challenges of leading large organizations. |

Robert Coppola Robert Coppola is the Chief Technology Officer for McGraw-Hill Financial. In this role, Bob leads the product and technology organization for the division. This includes the S&P Capital IQ and S&P Indices business lines. He is responsible for driving the overarching technology strategy, architecture, and development in addition to execution and operations. Bob brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role. Prior to Joining McGraw-Hill Bob was Global Head of Technology, Service, and Operations at Thomson Reuters where he was accountable for the technology and operations supporting the Editorial, News, and Media business lines in addition to IT and productivity tools for all employees. Over the past 20 years Bob has accumulated a broad range of business, technology, and support experience within the financial services and media industries. His previous responsibilities include roles as Chief Reliability Officer and Global Head of Customer Service at Thomson Financial, Global Head of Research and Data, General Manager of Product Strategy, Global Head of Transaction Product Sales and Implementation, and Global Head of Integration Services at Bloomberg LP. The aforementioned broad range of experience which includes; business development, product management, software development, innovation, technology, operations, sales, customer service, and strategy aggregates into a unique perspective and understanding of the financial services business, technology, and product development. Along with this experience Mr. Coppola brings a strong track record of success through execution that includes the incubation of start-up efforts, evolution of well established legacy products and operations to meet rapidly evolving business needs on a global scale, and a focus on innovation by stretching technology capabilities to solve complex business challenges. Bob is a graduate of Rutgers University and has been a member of the New Jersey Institute of Technology Board of Visitors since 2008 where he has been an active contributor focused on driving changes in curriculum that will better prepare computing science students and graduates for the dynamic and challenging opportunities that exist within Financial Services. |

Peter de Boer Peter de Boer is executive managing director and head of Integrated Desktop Solutions for S&P Capital IQ. In this role Peter is responsible for managing and leveraging our market leading solutions including Capital IQ, Global Credit Portal, theMarkets.com, Risk Solutions, and Structured Finance Solutions. Prior to this role Peter was head of Fixed Income Solutions for S&P Capital IQ. At S&P Peter also served as head of Global Strategy and Business Development where he championed the overall strategic planning process at S&P across its ratings, index and information businesses and oversaw the identification, evaluation, and execution of potential acquisitions and divestitures, and guided the development of major new market opportunities. Before joining S&P, Peter worked for Morgan Stanley where he was executive director of the Investment Banking Division for the Financial Institutions Group, serving as a senior team member of the Global Financial Technology practice with responsibility for client relationships, deal origination and execution. Peter was also a vice president of Investment Banking, Financial Institutions, for JP Morgan, vice president/associate with LabMorgan (a JPMorgan venture capital division). Peter graduated from Union College with a B.A. in Economics and holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. |

Fabienne Gimenez Fabienne Gimenez is a Managing Director at McGraw-Hill Financial. Fabienne’s role is to lead the formulation of business strategies that helps MHF achieve its long-term objectives for growth and global expansion. In addition, Fabienne heads business development efforts for external alliances and acquisitions. In her current role, Fabienne has shaped the overall strategy and developed a set of strategic organic and inorganic options for the newly created organization. Fabienne joined the firm in 2008 and prior to her current role served in a similar capacity for the entire S&P franchise including Ratings. Fabienne has a broad and successful background in the global financial services arena, having spent the last 17 years working across North America and EMEA. Prior to Standard & Poor’s, Fabienne was at Thomson Financial (based both in London and NY) where she was a vice president within the EMEA COO unit with responsibility for international business development, and within the strategy group for competitive intelligence and market research. Her contribution in both roles substantially aided the organization to grow, create efficiencies for the business in the French speaking region and enabled the firm to become more aware of competitive and industry conditions to act upon them. Prior to this assignment, Fabienne was Senior Vice President at Euronext, leading their North American international listing efforts and was an institutional equity salesperson for the Middle East and NY offices of EFG-Hermes (the largest Middle Eastern investment bank). Fabienne started her career in France as a private equity analyst. Fabienne is fluent in English and French. She holds an MBA and a post graduate degree in Finance from University of Toulouse, France. |

Del Johnson Del Johnson was named Chief Financial Officer for McGraw-Hill Financial in November 2010 and he is responsible for the entire global finance organization for McGraw-Hill Financial. These responsibilities encompass all financial activities including budgeting, financial planning, internal controls, strategic plan development and acquisition/divestitures valuation and diligence. Del has held a number of financial positions throughout The McGraw-Hill Companies since joining the audit department in 1992. Most recently, he served as senior vice president for S&P Investment Services and before that vice president Equity Investor Services. Prior to joining the company Del spent 8 years in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche. Del holds a BS in Accounting and a concentration in Management Information Systems from Bucknell University and is a Certified Public Accountant. |

Alexander J. Matturri, Jr. CFA Alex Matturri is Executive Managing Director at S&P Indices, responsible for all aspects of the index business globally. S&P Indices offers investment professionals around the world an array of products from efficiently representative indices to broad comprehensive benchmarks. Prior to joining S&P Indices, Alex was senior vice president and director of Global Equity Index Management at Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI). There, he was responsible for all facets of passive equity portfolio management and trading, overseeing a US$ 185 billion passive investment business for the world’s third-largest quantitative manager. In addition to leading investment teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia, Alex was a driver for the global expansion of the passive investment business across all regions. Alex joined NTGI in 2003 with the company’s acquisition of Deutsche Asset Management’s Index and Quantitative Investment business. At Deutsche, he served as director and senior index investment strategist. From 1987 until joining Deutsche in 2000, Alex was vice president and division head at The Bank of New York where he both created and managed the Special Investment Products group which provided investment management, product development, and trading for equity derivatives and quantitative strategies with an emphasis on structured investment, hedging, and tax-advantaged strategies. Additionally, Alex was a pioneer in the use of equity derivatives and exchange traded funds in institutional and high-net-worth portfolios. Alex started The Bank of New York’s transition management business in 1993, which was one of the first providers of portfolio transition and asset reallocation services. His experience before The Bank of New York included roles as a risk arbitrage analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and security analyst at First Fidelity Bank. Alex is admitted as an attorney in New York and New Jersey, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is also a member of the CFA Institute, The New York Society of Security Analysts and the International Association of Financial Engineers. Alex holds a bachelor of science degree with honors in finance from Lehigh University and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. |

Steven Miller Steven Miller is the Managing Director of S&P Capital IQ’s Leveraged Commentary & Data (LCD) team, the authoritative source of leveraged-finance news and information. He has been involved in developing credit market information products since 1990 when he joined Loan Pricing Corporation (LPC) as a reporter. At LPC, Steven was instrumental in the creation of the Gold Sheets, the Goldman Sachs/LPC Loan Index and early efforts to collect and publish secondary loan prices. After leaving LPC in 1995, Steven worked at Bankers Trust. Then, in 1996, he co-founded LCD’s predecessor, Portfolio Management Data LLC, an entrepreneurial venture that pioneered statistical analysis for the leveraged loan market. Since the acquisition, Steven has continued to lead the LCD team at S&P Capital IQ and write commentary for LCD various publications, as well as outside journals. Steven attended New York University where he majored in economics. |

Jonathan Reeve Jonathan Reeve is Executive Managing Director, S&P Capital IQ Enterprise Solutions. In this role he oversees a global team of over 4,000 content experts delivering standard and customized suites of equity, debt and risk data and research from Standard & Poor’s to brokers, insurers, asset managers and academics around the world. These data sets include security and entity reference data; security terms and conditions and corporate actions; counterparty linkage and exposure data; corporate financial performance data; structured finance performance data; credit ratings, evaluated pricing for illiquid securities, and other proprietary analytics Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s, Jonathan was Senior Vice President for Reuters Global Data Operations. Jonathan was at Reuters for 9 years where he performed a series of roles including global head of equities data operations. In his nine years at Reuters Jonathan managed a number of large-scale transformation projects, both technical and operational. These included a technical integration from fragmented data architecture onto a single data platform with improved user tools and capabilities. Also the integration of several operational data groups in Asia, Europe and the Americas realized through acquisition into a unified data management structure as well as a large operational migration to India. Jonathan is based in New York and holds a BA in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal. |

Michael Thompson Michael Thompson is Managing Director, Global Markets Intelligence at S&P Capital IQ, where he oversees an event-driven multi-asset class research and advisory team that consolidates fixed income, equity, credit, macroeconomic and risk research to better understand the interdependence of today’s markets. This unique approach to cross-asset analysis was developed to help investors cultivate the information they need to make critical decisions based on a comprehensive view of the capital markets. Michael joined Standard & Poor’s from Thomson Reuters, where he was Managing Director, Thomson Reuters Research. In this role, Michael led the firm’s market analysis team, providing deep dive research to investors and driving corporate policy on new regulatory initiatives. In this role, Michael was integral to setting policy on the handling of FAS 123(R) accounting mandates in the Thomson First Call Mean. Prior to joining Thomson Financial, Michael was Risk Strategist at RiskMetrics Group, the New York-based financial risk management firm. Michael’s career in finance began on the asset management side, first as part of the original high net worth start up team within the J.P. Morgan Securities Private Client Group and later with Lehman Brothers’ Private Client Group. Throughout his career, Michael has been a frequent source of market commentary and insight to the world’s leading news outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Barron’s, The Financial Times, CNBC, Bloomberg, Sky News and BBC Radio 4. |

Patricia Walsh Patricia Walsh is the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing for McGraw-Hill Financial. In this role, which Patti assumed in January 2011, she is responsible for developing and delivering strategic internal and external communications plans, including branding initiatives and public relations efforts, to support the business objectives of the McGraw-Hill Financial segment. She is also charged with managing the go-to-market brand launch for the segment through employee communications, public relations and marketing efforts, as well as developing the brand architecture to support the new organization. Prior to joining the McGraw-Hill Financial segment, Patti was Vice President of Communications and Marketing for the Information & Media group, which comprises BusinessWeek, J.D. Power & Associates, four ABC-affiliate television stations, and three business information services (Platts, Aviation Week, and McGraw-Hill Construction). In that role, Patti worked with segment and business unit teams to raise awareness of the segment’s properties and expertise beyond individual industries to a broader audience, through media relations and other public relations tactics. She was also responsible for issues management, as well as for executive and employee communications, for the segment. Prior to joining The McGraw-Hill Companies, Patti was a senior vice president in the Corporate Branding group at public relations agency Ruder Finn Inc. Before that, she spent 17 years in management and editorial positions at Dow Jones & Co., including director of internal communications and knowledge management; director of international development; editor of The Asian Wall Street Journal Weekly; and assistant managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Europe in Brussels. Patti holds a BA in communications from Marist College. |
